Terms of Service

Last updated 17 June 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of the Citeon website and platform. By using Citeon you agree to them.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you (and the organisation you represent) and Citeon. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Citeon is an AI-visibility intelligence platform that measures and helps improve how often AI assistants and answer engines mention or recommend your brand. Features and limits depend on your plan.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be authorised to act for any business you add to Citeon.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
  • Do not use Citeon to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
  • Do not resell or reverse-engineer the service except as the law allows.

5. Plans, billing & trials

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at checkout (monthly or annually). Fees are stated exclusive of VAT where applicable. Free trials convert to paid plans only if you choose to subscribe; you can cancel before the trial ends at no charge. You may upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, with changes applied as described at the point of sale.

6. No guarantee of specific AI results

AI engines are third-party systems we do not control and their answers change constantly. We measure and optimise the signals those engines read, but we cannot and do not guarantee any specific ranking, mention or recommendation in any AI answer.

7. Intellectual property

Citeon and its content, software and brand are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of the data and content you provide and grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service for you.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citeon is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to comply with the law. On termination your right to use the service ends.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and the courts of Rotterdam have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continued use means you accept the new terms.

13. Contact
